There’s a New Record Holder in 2021!

April Lund shattered the Women’s Half Marathon Record by almost a minute and a half the 2021 Bismarck Marathon.

After her record-breaking performance, she made time and talked to a local KX News reporter. April is an ambassador of the running community in Bismarck and a selfless leader who inspires so many.

“This is a time when we can all come together and support each other. Whether you’re a walker or runner, we all can appreciate our hard work, kindness, and love for one another. Improving our community through health and fitness, we’re supporting our youth and all of our local charities. It’s just a magnificent experience.”

A final time of 1:16:34 put her at a sub 6 minute/mile pace throughout her run. Congratulations, April!
