Meet Johnny.
For him, running has always been more than crossing a finish line.
His love for the sport began while serving in the United States Marine Corps, where running became a place to clear his mind and find focus. Even years after his military service, itโs still where he goes to escape, reset, and stay healthy.
That passion has since grown into an incredible goal: running a marathon in all 50 states.
This year, the Bismarck Marathon will mark North Dakota as his 31st state and his 57th marathon overall.
Johnny, thank you for your service and for reminding us that every runner has a story behind the miles. We canโt wait to cheer you on as you add North Dakota to your journey! ๐๐บ๐ธ
