RUNNER SPOTLIGHT: MEET RON 🏃‍♂️

Ron began running at age 42 after watching his son compete in high school cross country. His goal was to run a 5k. That 5K goal quickly turned into 5 miles, then a 10K, then 10 miles…and he never looked back.

Now, 34 years later, Ron has completed 830+ races ranging from 1 mile to 50K, including an incredible 130 races of marathon distance or longer! 🤯

In 2018, Ron completed his first journey of running a marathon in all 50 states when he crossed the finish line in Anchorage, Alaska.

This Saturday, he’s coming to Bismarck with the chance to do it ALL OVER AGAIN. 🇺🇸

North Dakota is the final state Ron needs to complete his second round of marathons in all 50 states! We couldn’t be more excited that he chose the Bismarck Marathon for finish #50!

Good luck, Ron! We’ll be cheering for you all the way to that finish line! 👏
