Runner Spotlight: Meet Hailey 💙

For Hailey, running is about so much more than crossing the finish line.

She makes it a goal to complete a half marathon during each pregnancy and again postpartum, a way to celebrate what her body is capable of through every season of life. At this year’s Bismarck Half Marathon, she’ll be 24 weeks pregnant, with her newest little running partner along for the journey. It’s a boy! 👶🏃‍♀️

Running has also become a way for Hailey to stay connected with her family. Cheered on by her husband and inspired by her mom - a phenomenal runner and road racer - she laced up her own shoes to share in that passion and create memories together.

Every runner has a story, and we’re honored that Hailey’s is part of this year’s Bismarck Marathon. 💙

The Bismarck Marathon isn’t just about crossing the finish line, it’s about giving back to our community.

🏃 If every participant donated just $1 for every mile they run, together we’d raise more than $21,000 for local charities supporting youth, health, and wellness.

Not running? You can still make an impact. Every donation, big or small helps.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Bismarck Marathon distributes these funds to local organizations making a difference right here in the Bismarck-Mandan community. Last year alone, the marathon awarded $38,010 to 22 local organizations.
