Kids Mini Marathon presented by Bartlett and West

We are giving kids the real Bismarck Marathon race experience!

Kids of ALL ages will finish their race under an arch, just like the one that our other races finish under! NEW THIS YEAR – most races will take place inside the Capitol Grounds loop where there is grass to prioritize the safety of the kids.

We have different distances to accommodate kids of all ages.

PLUS this race is FREE and includes a medal and a water bottle!

Adaptive Race presented by Dreams in Motion

NEW for 2023! Dreams in Motion is helping make the Bismarck Marathon a more inclusive race for everyone. The Adaptive Race is for individuals who experience a developmental disability (physical, mental, or emotional).

The race will start at the same location as the Bartlett & West Mini Marathon on Thursday, September 14th at the North Dakota State Capitol Grounds start line, and follow a similar route.

Competitors will receive a FREE shirt with their registration and a race medal!

Start times on Thursday are still TBD, including the route. This race is FREE for all ages for those with developmental disabilities. Have questions about accessibility or something else? Let us know — send us a message via email at [email protected] and we’ll find the answer.

Mascot Dash presented by H.A. Thompson and Sons

It’s the funniest race of the day!

We bring Bismarck-Mandan’s favorite mascots for a RACE!

Watch them sprint down the same path that the kids run!

Will Clark the Lark hit Scrrratch with his tummy? Who will win?
